Nitro partnered with Dropbox to create easily accessible quick tools for users to do single actions with their PDFs. Users can use Nitro’s browser-based editing tools directly from Dropbox, without having to install anything.
I worked with our UX researcher to design the entire experience and worked with our engineering to oversee the development. I also directed all of the creative involved with the launch and marketing efforts.
Rather than creating an experience muddied up with hard selling account signups, we wanted to create a super simple experience that was easy to use. The easier the tools were to use, the more validity the brand would gain, and users would be more likely to want to create an account rather than be forced to.
Users can convert documents, fill and sign forms, organize pages and optimize files for faster web viewing. These features were chosen by looking at the most commonly completed tasks within the web-based product Nitro Sign (Then known as Nitro Cloud).
I designed and built all of the webpages that accompanied the app user experience and partnership launch. This included landing pages promoting each tool with signups for Nitro Cloud, as well as a partnership announcement landing page. Finally, I designed all of the emails to be used within the app as well as all announcement emails to all Nitro customers.
