About Me
Give me a whiteboard and a problem, and I'll walk out with a prototype — then go build it in code myself. That instinct isn't new: I have a BFA in painting, and designed in Illustrator for twelve years before I switched to Figma. Composition, hierarchy, weight — it's the same thinking whether it's product, brand, or a canvas. I just ship it now instead of hanging it on a wall.
I've built things from the ground up more than once. I was there from day one at Stress Refuge, one of three equity owners, and designed DeStressify Pro from conception. I joined Traba as its third team member with founder equity, building the product and evolving the brand from scratch. And at Evolve Biologix, I built the company's first design system and brand identity as its lead designer.
Beyond that, I've led creative teams across startups and SaaS companies, from a Series B startup through a company that went public. I also carry my own designs into working code, and lately into AI-assisted workflows, so the work doesn't stop at the file.
Outside of screens, I'm probably either working in my garden or in the garage building something out of wood — same instinct, different material. Also, I keep chickens.
